It all started on Tinder (yep, we’re one of the success stories). We matched on November 1st, 2020, and had our first date at Birchtree Bread Company on November 20th. Grace, Emily’s ever-watchful roommate, saw Sid pull up in his stick-shift Subaru—and everything started to shift from there.

That three-hour first date ended with an adorably awkward side hug. We had no idea it was the start of something real. We started texting non-stop, FaceTiming every day, and on March 20th, 2021—before a second in-person date—we made it official.

In early April, Emily flew to Virginia to meet Sid’s family. Our first kiss was at Reagan Airport in D.C.—a moment so overwhelming that Emily literally passed out (don’t worry, she bounced back fast!).

That year brought so many firsts: our first wedding as a couple, Emily’s 21st, meeting each other’s families, and the growing feeling that this was it.

After graduating, we left Worcester and flew straight to Greece. On the island of Naxos, we fell in love with the sunsets, the slower pace, the beaches—and with the idea of this becoming our happy place. It’s where our post-grad life really began.

Since then, we’ve weathered a lot together: family losses, big moves (from Massachusetts to Maryland to Virginia), grad school, getting Luna (our very spoiled corgi), and traveling anywhere we could.

On March 29th, 2025, under the cherry blossoms, Sid proposed—and Emily said yes.

Now we’re turning our post-grad dream of a Greek wedding into reality, and we’re so excited to celebrate with you.
